I am currently working in the government sector as a health care professional, after having completed my master's degree. I come from an upper middle class family with moderate family values. We belong to nuclear family currently living in London. My full name is Tejalee Thakur, can approach on fb. Thanks.
My son is successfully employed with a private firm as a Doctor. To describe about our family, we belong to the Agri caste and looking for a match from other communities also. We are a nuclear family with traditional values. My son resides in Manchester.
I am a senior software engineer, originally from Panvel, India, now living in London, United Kingdom. I moved to Germany in 2015, and then to the UK in 2016, and have been living here since. I try not to plan my life too far ahead but I definitely intend on obtaining an ILR (permanent residence; due in early 2021) and then citizenship (due in early 2022) in Britain. I currently have no plans of returning to India.
Although I grew up in a conservative Marathi family, I have fairly liberal values, and my family accepts and supports me fully. I am an irreligious atheist myself, and I do not care about religion, caste, race, astrology etc. I do not necessarily need my partner to share the same set of beliefs as long as her views are compatible and humane.
I am a strong believer in gender equality and individualism. I believe that two people in a relationship have equal rights and, equally importantly, equal responsibilities. I expect that we will divide all household chores between us, and that we will also both contribute to the expenses (not necessarily equally). I would want us to take all important decisions in life together.
In my personal life, I am a big nerd. I love to read and learn new things all the time. I believe in keeping the inner kid and my sense of wonder alive. Honesty, rational thought and compassion are three corner-stones of my life. I love travelling and experimentation. I have been to 13 countries so far. I love my siblings and parents unconditionally. I have a huge circle of friends and I love socialising.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have a bleeding disorder named haemophilia. Thanks to the amazing healthcare in Britain, this has minimal impact on my life. I cannot participate in sports, athletics, or physically strenuous activities, but I am able to work, travel, and go about my daily life otherwise just fine. Due to the joint damages accrued during my time in India though, I have a slight but a visible limp. If this is a problem for you, you can turn down my profile – I respect your right to that choice.
